Nepal A and Women’s Cricket Teams to Compete in Series in Bhutan

October 1, Kathmandu – The Nepal A men’s team and the Nepal women’s cricket team are set to participate in cricket series in Bhutan. According to the schedule released by Bhutan Cricket for the ‘Bhutan Cricket Festival 2026–27,’ the Nepal A team will compete in a men’s T20I series in December, while the women’s team will take part in a women’s T20I series in January.

The Nepal A team will face Bhutan, Bahrain, Thailand, and the Maldives from December 4 to 13 in the Gelephu Men’s T20I series. Matches will be held at the Gelephu International Cricket Ground.

Following this, from December 15 to 24, a men’s T20I triangular series will be played among Bhutan, Bahrain, and the Maldives. Then, from December 26 to 30, Bhutan and the Maldives will compete in a men’s T20I bilateral friendly series.

The Nepal women’s team will participate in the ‘Lotus Cup’ Women’s T20I quadrangular series scheduled for January 2027. Alongside Nepal and hosts Bhutan, Indonesia and Hong Kong, China will also compete in this series. Bhutan Cricket will additionally hold the ‘Mindful Cup’ Women’s T20I quadrangular series in January, featuring Bhutan, Japan, Oman, and Indonesia.

From January 30 to February 2, Bhutan and Oman will compete in a women’s T20I bilateral friendly series. In total, the Bhutan Cricket Festival 2026–27 will host six international series involving both men’s and women’s teams.
