Two Pakistani Nationals Killed by Indian Security Forces, Diplomatic Tensions Rise
Diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated significantly following the shooting incident along their border, resulting in the deaths of two Pakistani nationals. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has accused soldiers from India’s Border Security Force (BSF) of killing the two Pakistani citizens at the Bedian border area. Pakistan has strongly condemned the incident and sought clarification through the Indian acting envoy in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the BSF soldiers used lethal force against unarmed civilians without any provocation or incitement. “Such use of force was entirely unjustified and highly inappropriate, leading to the tragic deaths of two individuals,” the ministry’s official statement said. Pakistan has urged India to conduct an immediate, transparent, and credible investigation through diplomatic channels.
On the other hand, the Punjab Police in India has reported that the BSF killed two Pakistani intruders at the border area near Tarn Taran. The police informed that the shooting occurred on Friday in Rajoke village, which is adjacent to the India-Pakistan international border. DSP Atul Soni of Bhikhiwind stated that the firing incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Border Out Post (BOP) Rajoke Khalda police checkpoint.
