
Brazil Defeats India 4–0 in Friendly Football Match
October 4, Kathmandu – In an international friendly football match, Brazil secured a commanding 4–0 victory over India. The match, held at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, saw Brazil score two goals in the first half and add another two in the second half to cement their win.
In the first half, Brazil took the lead in the 29th minute with a goal from Istivão, followed by Pedro extending the lead to 2–0 in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Samuel Lino scored in the 58th minute to make it 3–0, and he added another goal during injury time, concluding the match with a 4–0 scoreline.
India created several notable scoring opportunities during the game but was unable to convert them into goals. Following this victory, Brazil is scheduled to play another international friendly against Uruguay in Kolkata on October 6.
