
Pepe Pizza Wins the Inaugural Extreme Presents Foodpark Veterans Cup 2026 Title
Pepe Pizza claimed the title in the first edition of the Extreme Presents Foodpark Veterans Cup 2026. The final was held on Saturday at Hub Sports Center, where Pepe Pizza defeated N Penang Veterans in a penalty shootout. After a 2–2 draw in regular time, Pepe Pizza emerged victorious and took home the championship along with a prize of NPR 1,000,000. (24 Ashoj, Kathmandu)
In the final, Pepe Pizza triumphed over N Penang Veterans through penalties to become the inaugural champions. Both teams had ended regulation time tied at 2–2, leading to the match being decided by a penalty shootout. Along with the trophy, Pepe Pizza received a cash award of NPR 1,000,000.
In the first semifinal, Pepe Pizza secured their spot in the final by defeating Freedom Fighters in a penalty shootout after a 2–2 draw. Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, N Penang Veterans claimed their final berth by beating Secrets FC 2–1.
A total of 13 teams participated in the competition. The winner was awarded NPR 1,000,000, while the runner-up received NPR 325,000. Additionally, individual awards included NPR 50,000 for the best player, and NPR 30,000 each for the top scorer and the best goalkeeper.
By winning the inaugural title, Pepe Pizza has etched its name in the competition’s history as the first ever champion.
