Shankarlal Agrawal, Chairman of Shankar Group, Arrested

March 20, Kathmandu – Shankarlal Agrawal, chairman of Shankar Group, has been arrested. Following a request from the Anti-Money Laundering Department to investigate charges related to money laundering, the police took him into custody at the District Police Office on Friday. According to sources, Agrawal was detained Friday afternoon. Since then, the Anti-Money Laundering Department has been recording his statement from 4 PM onwards, and he is currently being held at the Lalitpur District Police Office.
