He made these remarks during an interview with journalists regarding the recent Afghanistan–Pakistan conflict.
Emphasizing that Afghanistan and Pakistan are neighboring countries that cannot remain distant from each other, Lin stated that dialogue and consultations are the only effective means to resolve their issues.
