The Iranian military has claimed responsibility for a drone attack targeting Israel’s major arms manufacturer, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

The 31st phase of this attack, conducted under ‘Operation True Promise 4,’ was reported in a military statement issued by Iran on Tuesday.

Iran declared that this action was taken as retaliation for the assassination of its military commanders and civilians.

According to Iran, the Rafael facility produces advanced weapons systems, including defense systems like the Iron Dome and artificial intelligence-based technologies, for the Israeli military.

Iranian officials have also accused the center of supplying software and technology allegedly used in attacks on Iranian civilian areas.

The conflict escalated severely following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28.

Earlier, Iran had launched drone and missile attacks on U.S. military bases in Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
