Congress General Secretary Paudel Appeals to Dissatisfied Factions to Participate in the General Convention

Pradeep Paudel, General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, has urged dissatisfied members from the establishment faction to focus on preparations for the general convention rather than on disputes. He suggested that since the convention will be inclusive, any concerns or grievances should be addressed during the event. Paudel emphasized, “This is a time not for controversy over issues, but for the convention,” and therefore participating and voicing opinions at the convention is in everyone’s best interest.

Dang, 29 Chaitra — While visiting Dang for an election review, General Secretary Paudel recommended that since the general convention will embrace all sides, issues causing dissatisfaction should be brought forward there. He added, “The date for the convention has been announced and the process is moving forward, so it is beneficial for all to participate and present their viewpoints. I request my colleagues to focus on the convention instead of disputes.”

General Secretary Paudel expressed confidence that the ongoing general convention process will inject new energy and momentum into the Congress party.
