Congress Leader Bhishmaraj Andembe Renews Active Membership in Panchthar

Bhishmaraj Andembe, the parliamentary leader of the Nepali Congress, has renewed his active membership in Nawamidanda-1 of Phalgunanda Rural Municipality, Panchthar. The Congress party is conducting a campaign called ‘Let’s Renew Membership’ and has deployed central representatives across all 77 districts.

Central representatives indicate that the campaign has struggled to succeed because incumbent Chairperson Sher Bahadur Deuba and leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala’s faction have taken a stance against renewing membership. Amid rising controversy over active membership renewal in Nepali Congress, Andembe traveled to his home district Panchthar to complete his membership renewal.
