
Lok Bahadur Bishwakarma Resigns as President of Nepal Dalit Association
Lok Bahadur Bishwakarma, president of the Nepal Dalit Association, has resigned from his position due to family and health issues. On Monday, he submitted his resignation letter to President Gagan Kumar Thapa. The outgoing president, Sher Bahadur Deuba, had appointed Bishwakarma as the association’s president on 13 Ashoj 2080. In his resignation letter, President Bishwakarma stated that he is unable to fulfill his responsibilities in office because of family and health concerns, prompting his decision to step down. Earlier, Bidhyan Gurung, president of Nepal Tarun Dal, had also submitted his resignation to President Thapa.
