New Play ‘Mahabharat’ to Be Staged at Kantipur Theatre

April 6, Kathmandu – A new play titled ‘Mahabharat’ is set to be staged at Kantipur Theatre. The theatre has announced the upcoming production and shared initial information about the play. Naveen Bhatt will direct the new play. The exact dates for the staging and details about the cast are yet to be disclosed.

Previously, Kantipur Theatre hosted the staging of ‘Seto Dharti’, a Madan Puraskar-winning work by Amar Neupane. Additionally, other plays such as ‘Meera’, ‘Shirishko Phool’, and ‘Maharani ko Jatra’ have also been performed here. Recently, Kantipur Theatre has focused on productions based on notable literary works.
