
Gandaki Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey: Life Is Not Comfortable Without the Use of Technology
Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has emphasized that the use of technology has become indispensable. He clarified that in cases of discrepancies between provincial and federal laws, the federal law will prevail. Chief Minister Pandey expressed his commitment to advancing new technological management systems for the benefit of businesses that pay taxes. April 10, Kathmandu.
Speaking at the 7th National Convention of the Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs National Federation, Chief Minister Pandey highlighted the importance of technology. He stated, “The constitution clearly mentions that if there is a conflict between provincial and federal laws, the federal law will be applied. Therefore, not all matters fall under the sole jurisdiction of the provincial government.” He also raised the need to help entrepreneurs understand the significance of technology.
Discussing the taxes that transport entrepreneurs pay to the state, along with route permit fees and renewal charges, Chief Minister Pandey mentioned his intention to address the legal and practical differences between registered vehicles in operation and those used for ride-sharing. He also affirmed the provincial government’s commitment to taking initiatives on how to manage new technology effectively.
