Man Seriously Injured After Homemade Gun Explodes in Doty

April 12, Doty – A man suffered serious injuries when a homemade gun he was carrying suddenly exploded in Doty. According to the district police office of Doty, 25-year-old Karan Bahadur Darlami, a resident of Bagar settlement in Jorayal Rural Municipality-4, was the victim. Police report that Darlami was carrying the gun from his home towards the Pinakeshwar community forest nearby when he fell. During this incident, the gun exploded, causing pellets to hit his right chest. The pellets reportedly penetrated all the way through to his back. He has been admitted for treatment in Dhangadhi, where his condition remains critical.
