As peace talks aimed at ending the war have stalled, US President Donald Trump has issued a warning, saying time is running out for Iran.
“They better move fast, or there will be nothing left for them,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Everything is timely!”
President Trump is reported to be in communication with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Iranian media has revealed that the US has not responded to Tehran’s latest proposal aimed at ending the war.
According to the semi-official Mehr news agency, if flexibility is not shown from Washington, the proposal risks causing a deadlock in the negotiations.

Trump’s recent message appears to reiterate warnings given prior to the ceasefire declaration in early April, implying that if Iran refuses to agree to an end-of-war deal, “entire civilization” could be destroyed.
Last week, Trump completely rejected Tehran’s demands and warned that the ceasefire conditions were under “extensive life support.”
Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, has stated that Iran remains responsible and generous in its approach.
According to the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim, Tehran has submitted a proposal to immediately end the war on all fronts.
The proposal includes halting Israeli attacks against the Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon, lifting the US naval blockade on Iranian ports, and securing guarantees against further attacks on Iran.
It also calls for compensation for war damages and assurances of Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
Five Conditions from the US?

According to the Iranian semi-official news agency Fars, Washington has proposed five conditions in response to Tehran’s peace offer.
These conditions include Iran operating only one nuclear facility and transferring its stockpile of highly enriched uranium to the US.
On Friday, Trump expressed somewhat evolving views on the Iranian nuclear program, which has been the most contentious issue between the two countries.
He indicated that Iran’s proposal to suspend its nuclear program for 20 years is acceptable, signaling a shift from his earlier stance advocating for its complete termination.
On February 28, Iranian and American forces launched a major air offensive on Iran.
Despite repeated attacks and counterattacks, the ceasefire put in place to facilitate negotiations appears to have become increasingly volatile.
Iran continues to maintain control over the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway that accounts for about 20% of the world’s fuel and liquefied natural gas supply.
Iran has stated this move is in response to attacks by the US and Israel, which has globally increased fuel prices.
The US continues to pressure Tehran to agree to its terms by maintaining the naval blockade of Iranian ports.
Pakistan has been mediating between the US and Iran, but a significant gap remains between the two sides.
