Brazil has announced its final 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026, featuring Neymar. Neymar will be participating in his fourth World Cup, with the team comprising a blend of experienced and young players. Brazil will compete in Group C alongside Haiti, Morocco, and Scotland. Kathmandu, May 19.

Brazil’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed the final squad on Monday evening during an event held in Rio de Janeiro. The 26-man roster was selected from an initial list of 55 players. The 34-year-old Neymar has delivered outstanding performances for his original club Santos over the past 18 months. There had been much speculation regarding whether Neymar, who has struggled with injuries, would make the World Cup squad.

With his inclusion confirmed, Neymar is set to play in his fourth FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Alongside Neymar, Brazil’s forward line includes players such as Vinicius Junior, Rafinha, Endrick, Igor Thiago, and Gabriel Martinelli.

While Brazil has several options in the forward positions, the squad features only five midfielders. Ryan from Bournemouth was selected in the final squad, but João Pedro from Chelsea did not make the cut. Injuries have ruled out Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, defender Éder Militão, and Chelsea’s Esteban, all of whom are out of the World Cup. Situated in Group C, Brazil will face Haiti, Morocco, and Scotland in the group stage.

Brazil’s final squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Alisson, Ederson, Weverton
Defenders: Alex Sandro, Bremer, Danilo Luiz, Douglas Santos, Gabriel Magalhães, Roger Ibanez, Leo Pereira, Marquinhos
Midfielders: Bruno Guimarães, Casemiro, Danilo Santos, Fabinho, Lucas Paquetá
Forwards: Endrick, Gabriel Martinelli, Igor Thiago, Luis Henrique, Matheus Cunha, Neymar, Rafinha, Ryan, Vinicius Junior
