Senior Vice President Election of Industry Commerce Federation to Proceed; Competition to Conclude Friday

Brief News: The election for the senior vice president and treasurer positions of the Nepal Industry and Commerce Federation is confirmed for Friday, 9th Jestha. The High Court’s decision not to issue an interim order against the Executive Committee’s resolution has cleared the way for the election. Federation President Anjan Shrestha stated that the meeting and electoral process will proceed as scheduled. Kathmandu, 7th Jestha — With the upcoming election for the senior vice president and treasurer of the Nepal Industry and Commerce Federation set for Friday, the competition has officially begun. Earlier legal challenges to the Executive Committee’s decision were dismissed by the High Court, allowing the election process for these posts to move forward. According to Federation President Anjan Shrestha, the Executive Committee meeting and the election will be conducted as planned. The senior vice president candidacy includes Ramchandra Sangai, Surakrishna Shrestha, Hemraj Dhakal, and Bhartaraj Acharya. Meanwhile, Ambika Paudel and Maheshlal Pradhan are expected to compete for the treasurer position.
