Nepal Begins Their Winning Run Against Malaysia in Second T20I with 7-Wicket Victory

Nepal secured a 7-wicket victory over Malaysia in the second T20 International match as part of their preparations for the Asian Games. Chasing a modest target of 83 runs set by Malaysia, Nepal reached the target in 16 overs while losing just 3 wickets. Smriti Khadka remained unbeaten with 39 runs, accompanied by Kavita Kunwar who scored an unbeaten 19 runs. Sony Pakhrin contributed 12 runs.

For Malaysia, Nur Dania, Aisa Elisa, and Aina Hamiza each took one wicket. Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Malaysia posted a total of 82 runs for 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Aina Hamiza top-scored for Malaysia with 17 runs, followed by Dhanushri with 15 runs. Ariana Natasha remained unbeaten on 13 runs.

For Nepal, Kavita Kunwar, Riya Sharma, and Rubina Khatri shared the spoils evenly with 2 wickets each, while Pooja Mahto and Sita Ranamagar claimed 1 wicket apiece. In the first match of the series, Nepal had earlier secured a hard-fought win by chasing down a target of 68 runs.
