Street Festival to be Held on Darbarmarg This Saturday Sponsored by Extreme Energy Drink

On Jestha 9, the ‘Extreme Saturday’ street festival will take place on Darbarmarg with ‘Extreme Energy Drink’ as the main sponsor. The festival will feature children’s games, basketball, e-sports, cultural processions, photo booths, food stalls, and DJ performances. Bands such as Jon and the Locals, The X, and Folktronics will perform, with Ramon Das Shrestha hosting the event.

Darbarmarg, the heart of Kathmandu, is set to come alive again with fresh vibrancy. This year’s street festival is scheduled for Jestha 9 (Saturday). Sponsored primarily by ‘Extreme Energy Drink’, the event will be energized under the banner ‘Extreme Saturday’, as announced by the sponsoring company.

Organized by Mavericks Group and Arbitrary Events under the initiative of the Darbarmarg Development Board, this festival aims to provide wholesome entertainment for audiences of all ages. As with every year, the street festival will be free to enjoy, fostering a family-friendly atmosphere for all attendees.

The festival includes various activities for children, basketball, e-sports competitions, cultural displays, and photo booths. Food stalls will offer a variety of flavors alongside fresh beverages. Along with the main stage, an auxiliary stage will host electrifying DJ performances. Performances will be given by Jon and the Locals, The X, Folktronics, ST Man, J Author, Salin Magar and Band, Prizol Nepali and Sarar, and Gun Elvis Band. The program will be hosted by popular presenters Ramon Das Shrestha, Ruvishka Shrestha, Sudit Shrestha, and Salina Maharjan.
