Amendments to Proposed Work Division Among UML Leaders to Be Made

May 23, Kathmandu – A decision has been made to amend and approve the proposed work division among the leaders of the Nepal Communist Party (UML). After necessary discussions, the responsibility to finalize the work division has been entrusted to General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel and Chairman KP Sharma Oli. “There has been dissatisfaction with the proposed responsibilities. Certain issues need to be reconciled,” said an official. “The General Secretary will conduct further groundwork, gather suggestions, and finalize the work division proposal.” The proposed division of roles among UML leaders had been made public beforehand. Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatt had informed central committee members that the division was organized to focus on the upcoming elections.
