Nepal Advances Mutual Legal Assistance Agreements with the US, Qatar, Malaysia, and Singapore

The government has initiated the process for mutual legal assistance agreements with the United States, Qatar, Malaysia, and Singapore. Nepal has already successfully concluded such agreements with its neighboring countries, India and China.

Law Minister Sobita Gautam stated, “Requests have been sent to several countries including Malaysia, Qatar, Singapore, and the United States.”

According to Minister Gautam, while agreements with China and India have been finalized, the process to conclude agreements with the remaining countries is underway.
