Dhavalshamsher Engages with Monarchist Youth Group to Form New Political Party

Dr. Dhavalshamsher Rana, a leader who split from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has initiated discussions with the ‘Gen Z’ youth group to establish a new nationalist party. Dissatisfied with the leadership style of party chairman Rajendra Lingden, Rana is preparing to unite monarchist forces to form a new political entity. On Tuesday, he also held talks with activist Durga Prasain, and the dissatisfied faction within RPP plans to establish the new party after the intercalary month.

Kathmandu, 20 Jestha – Dr. Dhavalshamsher Rana, a prominent leader from the RPP who is preparing to form a new party, has been engaging with ‘Gen Z’ youth to build a ‘nationalist force.’ As part of the efforts to establish a new party, Rana held discussions on Wednesday with youths affiliated with the ‘Gen Z Alliance for Monarchy.’ Having left RPP with the goal of consolidating monarchist powers, Rana is pursuing this new political venture.

The dissatisfied faction within the RPP is planning to launch the new party after the intercalary month. On Tuesday, Rana also engaged in talks with activist Durga Prasain. Growing discontent over party chairman Rajendra Lingden’s leadership style has prompted Rana to embark on this new campaign.
