Fugitive Defendant in Duty-Related Homicide Case Arrested

21 Jestha, Kathmandu – A fugitive defendant wanted in a duty-related homicide case has been apprehended. The arrested individual is 28-year-old Dipson Chaudhary, also known as Divas, from Damak Municipality-8, Jhapa. He was taken into custody by the Damle Police Station.

Dipson Chaudhary was convicted by the District Court of Jhapa on 19 Chaitra 2079 (early 2023) in the duty-related homicide case. Following the court’s order, he has been sent to prison to serve a remaining sentence of 10 years.
