May 5, Kathmandu – Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya highlighted that the provincial government’s recently released policy and program prioritize the youth.
He made these remarks during the inauguration of the Lumbini Provincial Youth Conference 2083 held at the provincial capital Rapti Valley (Deukhuri).
Chief Minister Acharya noted that the upcoming budget and programs will be prepared based on the policy, aiming to make youth-oriented plans and initiatives more effective. He urged the youth to remain aware of their responsibilities, emphasizing that rights alone are not enough.
Krishna Pangeni, President of Nepal Red Cross Society, Lumbini Province, and UNICEF representative Riddhi Sharma, among others, shared their perspectives on youth participation, leadership development, and social responsibility.
