
List of 132 Borrowers from Two Troubled Cooperatives Made Public
28 Jestha, Kathmandu – The Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has released the list of 132 borrowers from the cooperatives declared troubled: Hamro Naya Krishi and Krishi Bikash Multipurpose Cooperative Limited. Among them, 12 borrowers are from Hamro Naya Krishi Cooperative and 120 from Krishi Bikash Multipurpose Cooperative. The committee announced that the list was published based on a decision made on 23rd Baisakh.
The committee stated that the publication is based on available loan records. Borrowers who have already repaid their loans but whose names appear on the list are requested to present themselves with proof. Additionally, borrowers with outstanding loans have been notified to contact the committee office and settle their dues promptly. Otherwise, the committee has warned that recovery actions will be taken in accordance with relevant laws. The Troubled Cooperative Management Committee clarified that the publication aims to facilitate the recovery of cooperative funds and protect the interests of savers.
