Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for Today
29 Jestha, Kathmandu – Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 152.92, while the selling rate is NPR 153.52. Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 176.43 and the selling rate NPR 177.12; for one British Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 204.35 and selling rate NPR 205.16; and for one Swiss Franc, the buying rate is NPR 191.32 and the selling rate NPR 192.07.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 106.97, with a selling rate of NPR 107.39; for one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 109.41 and selling rate NPR 109.84; and for one Singapore Dollar, the buying rate stands at NPR 118.71 and selling rate NPR 119.18. For Japanese Yen 10, the buying rate is NPR 9.53 and selling rate NPR 9.56; one Chinese Yuan is bought at NPR 22.56 and sold at NPR 22.65; Saudi Arabian Riyal is bought for NPR 40.74 and sold at NPR 40.90; and Qatari Riyal is bought at NPR 41.95 and sold at NPR 42.11.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is bought at NPR 4.64 and sold at NPR 4.66; UAE Dirham buying rate is NPR 41.64 and selling rate NPR 41.80; Malaysian Ringgit is bought at NPR 37.60 and sold at NPR 37.75; South Korean Won 100 has a buying rate of NPR 9.99 and selling rate of NPR 10.03; Swedish Krona buying rate is NPR 16.04 and selling rate NPR 16.10; Danish Krona is bought at NPR 23.61 and sold at NPR 23.70.
The Rastra Bank has set the Hong Kong Dollar buying rate at NPR 19.51 and selling rate at NPR 19.59; Kuwaiti Dinar buying rate at NPR 497.71 and selling rate NPR 499.66; Bahraini Dinar is bought at NPR 405.54 and sold at NPR 407.13; Omani Riyal is bought at NPR 397.17 and sold at NPR 398.73. For Indian Rupees 100, the buying rate is NPR 160 and selling rate NPR 160.15. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary.
