Indian Air Force Transport Aircraft Crashes in Assam
May 13, Kathmandu – An Indian Air Force transport aircraft has crashed in Assam, India. The incident occurred on Saturday at the Jorhat Air Force Station where an AN-32 transport aircraft went down. Quoting Wing Commander Jaydeep, a spokesperson for the Air Force, the report states, “An AN-32 aircraft has crashed at the Jorhat Air Force Station. We are currently gathering detailed information about the incident.”
The Indian Air Force updated on social media platform X that the aircraft crashed during landing in Jorhat. A Court of Inquiry will be formed to determine the cause of the accident. It has also been reported that the aircraft caught fire. As of now, there has been no information released regarding any casualties resulting from the crash.
