One Dead and One Seriously Injured in Tractor Accident in Jumla

June 16, Jumla – A tractor accident in Jumla resulted in one fatality and one person seriously injured. The incident occurred around 6 PM on Tuesday near Lachhugaun, Ward No. 3 of Tatopani Rural Municipality, along the Karnali Highway. The tractor involved bore the registration number Bh 1 Ta 8935.

According to DSP Chiranjivi Dahal of Jumla, the deceased has been identified as Khabendra Shahi from Ward No. 4 of Tila Rural Municipality. Deumani Sarki, also from the same area, sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Police reports indicate that the tractor fell approximately 200 meters below the road.
