Pinterest Unveils New AI Business Assistant and ‘Ask Pinterest’ Feature

Pinterest has announced a suite of new artificial intelligence-based features, including a new business assistant, advertising creation tools, and an AI-powered app. According to the company, these innovations will enable Pinterest to develop the next generation of shopping experiences.

The company introduced a new “Business Assistant,” an AI-powered tool integrated directly within its Ads Manager. This assistant provides advertisers with data-driven insights and recommendations, using graphs and charts to highlight key points. Currently, this feature is available in a closed beta version exclusively to a limited group of ad partners.

Additionally, Pinterest announced the “Model Context Protocol,” which enables the platform to connect with advertisers’ copilot and agent tools. Through this protocol, advertisers can seamlessly integrate Pinterest Ads data into their preferred AI chatbots, providing more options to enhance the performance of their pin campaigns.

New creative AI tools have also been added, including “Dynamic Creative Selection,” which evaluates advertising content to identify the most effective variants. Finally, Pinterest revealed the launch of the “Ask Pinterest” app designed to assist users in discovering new concepts and ideas through conversational interactions and support for complex decision-making. The “Ask Pinterest” app is currently available exclusively in the United States.
