10 Individuals Arrested for Driving Vehicles Under the Influence of Drugs in Makwanpur

Authorities have arrested 10 drivers and co-drivers for operating vehicles under the influence of drugs at various locations in Makwanpur. The police have stated that cases will be filed against the arrested individuals for drug consumption and driving offenses. Kathmandu, 8 Ashar — Ten people have been apprehended for driving under the influence of narcotics. These individuals, including drivers and co-drivers, were detained from different parts of Makwanpur.

The arrested include Mostaki Ansari, 20, from Bara; Nirmal Shrestha, 26, from Gorkha; Anjit Chaudhary, 27, from Sunsari; Ram Narayan Mandal, 40, from Parsa; Amir Yonjan, 34, from Sarlahi; Pukar Yadav, 35, from Rautahat; Rohan Lama, 23, from Makwanpur; Rudra Prasad Dahal, 27, from Mahottari; Umesh Rai Yadav, 33, from Rautahat; and Mainidin Miya, 34, from Parsa.

The police have confirmed that legal proceedings will be initiated against all the accused for the offense of drug-impaired driving.
