Bosnia and Herzegovina Advances to Knockout Stage of FIFA World Cup 2026

Bosnia and Herzegovina, placed third in Group B, has advanced to the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Kathmandu, June 11 – Bosnia secured third place in Group B and qualified as one of the eight best third-placed teams, earning a spot in the knockout rounds. In the group stage matches, Bosnia recorded one win, one loss, and one draw. Despite finishing behind co-host Canada in the head-to-head standings, Bosnia missed out on becoming group runners-up. Having made their World Cup debut in 2014 where they exited in the group stage, this marks Bosnia’s second appearance advancing to the World Cup knockout stage.
