Cover Released for Late Vasudev Munal’s Memoir on His 77th Birth Anniversary

Kathmandu, 26 Ashar — On the occasion of the 77th birth anniversary of the late Vasudev Munal, the cover of his memoir titled “Come! My Dear Brothers and Sisters! Come Close to the Radio!” was unveiled today. Munal, who hosted children’s programs on Radio Nepal for many years, used to begin his shows with this very phrase.

Set to be published by Bookhill Publication, the book captures unforgettable experiences related to radio, interesting anecdotes from children’s programs, the journey of songs and music, as well as the personal ups and downs of the author’s life. It is expected to vividly portray an important chapter of Nepalese radio culture.

The publisher has announced that the book will be formally released on 12 Ashoj.
