June 10, Kathmandu – Mahalaxmi Development Bank has inaugurated a digital hub equipped with a coffee lounge.
The formal opening took place on Friday at Kathmandu Metropolitan City–30, Gyaneshwar.
Chairperson of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Rajesh Upadhyay, led the opening ceremony of the office building housing the coffee lounge and digital hub.
The event was attended by the bank’s board members, Chief Executive Officer, management committee officials, and staff members.
The bank has emphasized continuous policy efforts to modernize digital banking services, making them secure, technologically advanced, and customer-friendly. As part of this innovation, a coffee lounge has been added as a novel service feature.
Customers can enjoy a comfortable setting to deposit cash, clear checks, withdraw cash, and experience other electronic transactions with distinctive convenience.
According to the bank, Mahalaxmi Development Bank is likely the first bank in Nepal’s banking sector to offer such services.
The digital hub aims to attract younger users through the use of digital technology and to expand the bank’s reach to customers by also providing consultations related to digital banking services.
