Head Coaches Appointed for All Six Teams in Nepal Volleyball League
The head coaches for all six franchise teams participating in the inaugural season of the Nepal Volleyball League have been officially appointed. The selection process, held in Kathmandu, resulted in the appointments of Utsav Khadka, Bharat Yadav, Nipa Bahadur Bik, Ramesh KC, Chandrabhadur Kunwar, and Rupesh Kumar Bisht as head coaches. The organizers stated that the distribution of coaches was conducted fairly and transparently with the goal of establishing Nepalese volleyball at a professional and international level. The selection and allocation process for the head coaches of all six franchise teams of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) was completed on Sunday at Hotel Crown Imperial in Kathmandu. Coordinated by the Nepal Volleyball Association and following league regulations, the distribution of coaches was carried out based on fairness, transparency, and mutual agreement, the organizers said. Official representatives from all participating franchise teams took part in the process and signed off on the agreements made.
As per the allocation, Utsav Khadka was appointed as head coach of Sagarmatha Smashers. Bharat Yadav took charge of Madhesh Warriors, while Nipa Bahadur Bik was named head coach of Kathmandu Reds. Likewise, Ramesh KC was appointed for Annapurna Spiker Kings, Chandrabhadur Kunwar for Karnali Shivraj, and Rupesh Kumar Bisht for Khaptad Falcons. The Nepal Volleyball League aims to establish Nepalese volleyball as professional, competitive, and recognized internationally. The league also expressed gratitude for the continuous support and cooperation from all stakeholders committed to the development of Nepalese volleyball.
