June 14, Kathmandu. Jagadamba Motors, the official distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has opened bookings for the much-anticipated electric car, the EMAS 5.
Before its official launch, the company has introduced a special campaign titled “Guess and Book the All-New EMAS 5 at Your Price.” Under this initiative, customers can predict the official market price of the new Proton EMAS 5 and get an opportunity to purchase the car at their predicted price.
The company will allow customers who guess the official launch price or the closest to it to buy the vehicle at their estimated price.
Interested participants can visit the company’s designated website, select their preferred variant, and use the “price slider” to lock in their estimated price and submit their guess.
For price prediction, the EMAS 5 Prime variant has a set range from NPR 2,999,000 to NPR 3,499,000, while the Premium variant is priced between NPR 3,499,000 to NPR 3,999,000.
The company stated that among the participants adhering to the rules, five lucky winners per variant will be selected through a lucky draw. These winners will be entitled to purchase the Proton EMAS 5 at their guessed price, subject to the terms and conditions of the scheme.
Meanwhile, Jagadamba Motors has set the booking amount at NPR 100,000 for the Proton EMAS 5. Customers can complete their booking by making the payment via bank or online channels and then submitting the payment receipt to the sales consultant.
Alternatively, bookings can be made by uploading the payment voucher on the specified website. Participants who book on the website will serve as the basis for selecting the lucky customers.
Developed and produced in collaboration between Proton and Geely, this vehicle recently received the ‘Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026’ award at Malaysia’s Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards.
According to the company, the EMAS 5 will be Nepal’s first electric compact SUV in its segment featuring rear-wheel drive. It combines five key features designed to offer a premium electric driving experience.
