
Missile Falls Near RT TV Journalist During Live Broadcast in Lebanon
A missile fell beside a journalist broadcasting live on television from Lebanon
A missile fell close to a reporter delivering a live news report from southern Lebanon, footage of which was aired by the Russian state television channel RT.
Following the incident, RT’s Lebanon bureau chief Steve Sweeney and his cameraman were taken to hospital for treatment.
The BBC has verified that the video is authentic.
Israel has intensified air and ground strikes against the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
