Iranian Attack on Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan Airbase Injures 12 U.S. Soldiers

March 28, Kathmandu – Twelve U.S. soldiers have been injured in an Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan Airbase.

American media outlets report that the number of U.S. soldiers wounded in the Iranian strike at the airbase has risen to 12.

Earlier reports had indicated that 10 soldiers were injured. CBS News, a U.S. partner of BBC, stated that two of the wounded soldiers are in serious condition.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the soldiers were inside a building on the airbase at the time of the attack. BBC reports that the assault involved at least one missile and multiple drones.

Reports from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal indicate that several aircraft were also damaged in the attack. The damaged aircraft were primarily those used for aerial refueling operations.

Meanwhile, in the Khalifa Economic Zone of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, missile debris has injured five Indian nationals.
