Serious Injuries Reported After Cyclist Struck by Car in Siraha

In Siraha, a cyclist named Rabin Sadaya sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car. Following initial treatment at the local R.K. Medicity, he was referred to Biratnagar for further medical care. The car driver, Akash Chaudhary, has been taken into police custody. The incident occurred on 21 Chait.

The accident took place at Aamchowk, Sirha Municipality-10, where a car collided with a cyclist, critically injuring a young man. Rabin Sadaya, approximately 25 years old from Dhangadhimai Municipality-11, was injured during the incident. The vehicle involved, bearing license plate Province 3-01-024 Cha 7527, was traveling westward when the collision occurred.

Following the accident, Sadaya, who was in serious condition, was immediately transported to R.K. Medicity Hospital for treatment. However, due to the extent of his injuries, he was referred to Biratnagar for advanced care, according to Salikram Timilsina, Chief of the District Traffic Police Office in Lahan. The police report that Sadaya suffered severe injuries to his head, arms, and legs. The car driver has been identified as 26-year-old Akash Chaudhary from Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-17, Sunsari. He remains in police custody.
