
Karnali Province Team Sent Off for 4th National U-20 Athletics Championship
Players from Karnali Province have been sent off to participate in the 4th National U-20 Athletics Championship being held in Pokhara. Member-Secretary Ravindra Chand extended his best wishes to the players, encouraging them to perform excellently with high morale. Additionally, both the women’s and men’s Rugby Sevens teams were also sent off today to compete in the national championship. March 11, Kathmandu.
A special farewell event was held for the Karnali Province players ahead of their participation in the 4th National U-20 Athletics Championship in Pokhara. Ravindra Chand, Member-Secretary of the Karnali Province Sports Development Council, bid farewell to the athletes, coaches, and management team with his best wishes.
During the farewell, Member-Secretary Chand urged the players to compete with high morale, saying, “You are representing the province, and I sincerely wish you an outstanding performance to raise the name of Karnali high.” He also reaffirmed the council’s commitment to always support athletes for the development of sports in the region.
Organized by the Nepal Athletics Association and coordinated by the Kaski District Athletics Association, the event will be held at the Pokhara Rangashala Stadium on Chaitra 28 and 29 (mid-April). Member-Secretary Chand also sent off today the Karnali Province women’s and men’s teams heading to participate in the National Rugby Sevens Championship. Both teams will be competing in the tournament.
