Finance Minister Wagley: No Implementation Beyond the Constitutional Framework

April 16, Kathmandu – Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagley has affirmed the current government’s full commitment to the constitution. Addressing the Intergovernmental Finance Council meeting held at the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, he emphasized that the government is actively ensuring the sincere implementation of the constitution and that any necessary reforms will be made strictly according to constitutional provisions. Despite concerns raised by some media outlets suggesting the government, with Prachanda’s majority, might alter or abolish the constitution, he clearly stated that such fears are unfounded.
