Following Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Real Betis on Friday, Barcelona is in an even stronger position to increase their advantage.
By defeating Getafe 2-0, Barcelona widened their lead further. Currently, Barcelona leads Real Madrid by 11 points, with both teams having five matches remaining. Barcelona has accumulated 85 points from 33 games, while Real Madrid has 74 points from the same number of matches. Towards the end of the first half, Fermin Lopez opened the scoring for Barcelona with a goal assisted by Pedri. In the second half, Marcus Rashford, coming off the bench, sealed the victory with an exceptional goal on a counterattack. With this win, Barcelona is confidently advancing toward their 29th La Liga title.
