Inter Milan Clinches 21st Serie A Title
Inter Milan has secured its 21st Italian Serie A title. By defeating Parma 2-0 with three games remaining, Inter ensured the championship. Marcus Thuram and Henrikh Mkhitaryan each scored a goal.
On April 21, in Kathmandu, Inter defeated Parma 2-0 in a match held at San Siro on Sunday night to claim the title. Marcus Thuram gave Inter the lead by scoring during injury time of the first half, while Mkhitaryan secured the win with a goal in the 80th minute.
Following this victory, league leaders Inter have established a commanding 12-point lead over second-placed Napoli. Inter tops the table with 82 points from 35 matches, while Napoli has 70 points from the same number of games. Even if Napoli wins all remaining matches, they cannot overtake Inter. Having won the championship in 2024, Inter has reclaimed the league title after just one season. Inter ranks second among the teams with the most Serie A titles, with Juventus leading with 36 titles and AC Milan in third with 19.
