RASWAP Forms Core Organizing Committee for General Assembly Under Ravi Lamichhane’s Leadership

April 30, Kathmandu – The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RASWAP) has established the core organizing committee for its upcoming general assembly, led by party chairman Ravi Lamichhane. The central committee decided in a meeting held on Wednesday morning to conduct the first general assembly from June 21 to 23 in Chitwan. Parliamentary party deputy leader Ganesh Parajuli informed that the core organizing committee was formed under the chairman’s leadership. “The entire central committee is serving as the organizing committee. Various subcommittees have also been formed to prepare for the general assembly,” he stated.

RASWAP has called for gatherings of wards where committees have not yet been formed on May 15. Wards that established their committees before April 10 will hold ward-level assemblies on May 16. Temporary committees in municipalities without formal committees will convene assemblies on May 23. Municipalities with committees formed before April 11 are scheduled to hold their assemblies on May 24. Assemblies in wards with committees established by May 16 will occur on June 1. For municipalities with committees formed before May 10, municipal-level assemblies are set for June 2. The secretariat had already decided that district-level assemblies will be held on June 6 and 7.
