Cristiano Ronaldo Wins Saudi Pro League Title for the First Time

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr. Al Nassr secured the championship by defeating Damac 4-1, finishing the season with 86 points. Ronaldo has scored over 100 goals in three seasons in Saudi Arabia.

May 21, Kathmandu – Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has finally won the Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr. In the season’s final match on Thursday, Al Nassr defeated Damac 4-1, enabling Ronaldo to lift the Saudi Pro League trophy for the first time. After joining Saudi club Al Nassr at the beginning of 2023, having left English club Manchester United, Ronaldo had to wait three years to win the league title.

With the victory, Al Nassr accumulated 86 points from 34 games, edging out second-placed Al Hilal by 2 points. Although Al Hilal defeated Al Feiha 1-0, it was not enough to claim the title. For Al Nassr, Ronaldo scored twice in the 63rd and 81st minutes. Earlier, Sadio Mané gave Al Nassr the lead in the 32nd minute, and Kingsley Coman doubled the advantage in the 52nd minute. Damac’s Moraleya Sillah scored a consolation penalty in the 58th minute.

The 41-year-old star Ronaldo has scored over 100 goals for Al Nassr in three seasons in Saudi Arabia. He has already won domestic league titles in England, Spain, and Italy in Europe. Included in Portugal’s squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which begins June 11 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Ronaldo is preparing to make his sixth World Cup appearance.
