Ravi Lamichhane Welcomed by BJP During Visit to India

Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), arrived in New Delhi for a five-day visit at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). During his stay, he has scheduled high-level political and diplomatic meetings in New Delhi, as well as a visit to Ayodhya. The delegation was received at the Delhi airport by BJP General Secretary Arun Singh and Foreign Department Head Vijay Chauthaiwale.

May 31, Kathmandu – Chairman Ravi Lamichhane is currently in India for a five-day visit. He arrived in New Delhi on Monday afternoon. At Delhi airport, Arun Singh, General Secretary of the Indian BJP, and Vijay Chauthaiwale, head of the party’s foreign department, welcomed Lamichhane and his delegation. Following the BJP’s invitation, Lamichhane’s photographs have been prominently displayed at various locations across New Delhi.

Accompanying Chairman Lamichhane are RSP’s Deputy General Secretary and Member of Parliament Bipin Kumar Acharya, Secretariat Member and MP Deepak Bohora, his wife Nikita Paudel, and Pradeep Acharya. Bohora posted a video on social media captioned “This is how it is in Delhi,” sharing insight from the visit. According to RSP spokesperson Manish Jhaka, Lamichhane will remain in India from May 31 to June 4 (Jestha 18 to 22).

During this visit, Lamichhane will engage in high-level political and diplomatic discussions in New Delhi. He is scheduled to meet with BJP leadership, members of the Nepali community in India, and party well-wishers. The delegation will also visit Ayodhya, according to a statement issued by the party spokesperson. The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has been coordinating the meetings, discussions, and visits throughout the trip, as stated by the RSP.
