Foreign Employment Department Requests Details of Caregiver Training Graduates

The Foreign Employment Department has instructed training institutions to provide the details of individuals who have completed caregiver training within three days. The department has opened applications from Jestha 17 to Asar 7 to send 2,300 Nepali assistant workers to long-term care centers in Israel. Due to previous issues with fraudulent certificates being submitted, the department plans to pre-register these details this time.

Jestha 20, Kathmandu – The Foreign Employment Department has requested details of individuals who have undergone caregiver training. The department has asked caregiver training providers to submit records of all trainees from the start to the present within three days. This request applies to institutions registered with CTEVT and NAVT to provide details of all caregiver trainees trained to date.

The department has called for applications to fill 2,300 quotas for Nepali assistant workers in Israel’s long-term care centers. For this purpose, it has sought the details of individuals who have received training from the caregiving training providers. Previously, on Asar 11, 2078, the second phase of caregiver recruitment was announced, seeking 2,000 applicants. At that time, some training providers were found to have issued certificates without actual training. Following this, the department conducted investigations and canceled applications of those holding fake certificates.

To prevent recurrence of the problem of applicants submitting fake certificates, the department has requested detailed records of all individuals trained from the beginning until now. The application period has been set from Jestha 17 to Asar 7. Currently, the application process is ongoing, and the department has stated that after the deadline, verification and selection procedures will commence.
