Both New Diamond Teams Advance to Semifinals

After playing 2–2 matches on Monday, both teams from New Diamond have secured their places in the semifinals. June 22, Kathmandu. New Diamond Youth Sports Club and New Diamond Academy have reached the semifinals of the Madan Bhandari Cup U-19 Provincial School Girl Volleyball Tournament organized by Bagmati Province on Monday. Both teams advanced after playing 2–2 matches each. New Diamond topped Group A, while New Diamond Academy emerged as winners of Group B.

The matches held at Angels Sports Academy in Manamaiju saw New Diamond defeating Amar Jyoti from Nuwakot by sets of 25–9, 25–11, and 25–5, and Saraswati School from Sindhupalchok by 25–5, 25–6, and 25–4. In the tournament organized by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, New Diamond Academy beat Surya Binayak from Bhaktapur by 25–13, 25–4, and 25–6, and Ganesh Himal by 25–9, 25–22, and 25–14.

In other matches, Ganesh Himal defeated Elixir Academy by 25–21, 25–21, and 25–16; Saraswati overcame Angels Sports Academy by 21–25, 25–13, 25–16, and 25–17; and Amar Jyoti beat Angels by 25–6, 25–22, and 25–10 in their respective sets.
