Trump Claims Iran Port Blockade More Effective Than Bombing

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the blockade of Iran’s maritime ports has proven to be more effective than bombing by the American military. Speaking to reporters at the White House, he indicated that Washington is prepared to quickly return to such a strategy if necessary. Trump expressed his belief that port blockades have a greater impact than bombings and claimed that his administration could reinstate such a blockade within approximately 15 minutes.

During the White House briefing, President Trump asked U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth whether the blockade could be restored quickly. In response, Pentagon Chief Hegseth affirmed that the U.S. military is ready to take immediate action if required.
