In the match held on Saturday, Nepal defeated Indonesia by 9 wickets to secure the third position. Nepal successfully chased down the target of 69 runs set by Indonesia, reaching the total in 14.2 overs with the loss of only one wicket.
Sana Praveen remained unbeaten with 25 runs. Sabitri Dhami scored 24 runs and Karuna Bisht added an unbeaten 16 runs.
Indonesia, having won the toss and elected to bat first, managed only 68 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs.
Derani Rambule remained not out with 34 runs while Ni Putu Elin scored 11 runs. None of the other players reached double digits.
For Nepal, Manisha Upadhyaya was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for just 7 runs in 4 overs. Anu Kadayat claimed 2 wickets, while Tirsana Bik, Soni Pakhri, and Rachana Chaudhary took one wicket each.
