Dramatic Shark Attack on Diver in Fiji Captured on Camera

A dramatic incident was caught on camera where a New Zealand diver was attacked by a shark during a fishing trip in Fiji. The grey reef shark bit the lower portion of Henry Gibbs’ right leg as it swam nearby. After undergoing four surgeries and skin grafts, the diver has fully recovered and now considers himself “very lucky.”

He also expressed no complaints about the shark’s behavior. On Instagram, he wrote, “I was in its place looking for its food. Wrong place, wrong time.”
