Netanyahu Rejects Trump’s 15-Point Plan on Gaza Conflict

Kathmandu, August 9 – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the 15-point plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump concerning Gaza. Netanyahu stated clearly, “The Israeli military will not withdraw from Gaza until Hamas fully disarms.” On Sunday, Netanyahu emphasized, “Israel will not accept the 15-point agreement. Until Hamas completely disarms, Israeli forces will not pull back. Moreover, Israel is committed to ensuring the security of its soldiers and civilians against any threats.”

In recent months, Trump’s “Board of Peace” claimed to have reached a comprehensive disarmament agreement with Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza. However, Hamas has made it clear that its decision to surrender weapons in large quantities depends on halting Israeli attacks and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu insisted that Hamas must disarm first, and this process must not be merely symbolic or on paper. He also disclosed ongoing discussions with U.S. officials, noting that some proposals from the United States are not acceptable to Israel.
